I purchased the Dove & Blue Abalone pick puck expecting the mother-of-pearl dove as shown on the product images and in the description. The abalone is great, but the dove is made of a disappointing plastic material. I would usually let the issue go if I got an explanation from Thalia or if they tried to make it right in any way possible, but instead I got nothing as I emailed support twice with no responses. 2 stars because the function and abalone is still good.
Purchased 24k gold finish for lasting luster - after all Thalia claims to be the beautiful capo - read their story about Thalia thinking Taylor Swift needed a beautiful capo. Only a few months after receipt of my 24k gold capo the finish begins to tarnish. Quote from Thalia after contact regarding the tarnished 24k gold, "We're also very sorry but our warranty only covers mechanical failures...", going on to offer a one time 20% discount on a new purchase. It's beautiful, if you get a good one and it works well as a capo. it's also very large and in the way for many types of playing. You can purchase a similar quality without the premium price. Been buying capos for 50 years and none have finish issues like this new one. Over priced specialty products like this one should offer a replacement, especially when they market their product as being beautiful. Will not recommend to anyone without alerting them to potentially faulty finishes. I fully expect his review to be deleted or rewritten.
I was TRULY impressed with the beautiful supple leather of this strap. Buttery soft and the delicate iridescent Mandala Inlay is enchanting! You will NOT be disappointed with this beautiful work of art!
The beautifully inlaid truss rod cover was a nice touch to upgrade my Taylor Studio 414ce. Cocobolo bridge pins and Taylor Expression Rings completed the look. I recommend these thoughtfully designed and quality-made Thalia products to anyone who wants to treat their guitar (and themselves!) to an upgrade.
As a veteran and G4Vets graduate I have one on all my guitars.
This is now my go to capo. We capo a lot in my band and this requires no tuning moving around the neck. Saves a ton of gap time between songs. Just make sure to get the right size fret pad for your guitar! The pads that come with the capo were not the right size - but ordered afterward and that did the trick. Well made and stylish. Also appreciate that it can be placed in the center of the fret for a bit more left hand freedom.

Beautiful pickguard. It is so easy to apply or remove because there is no glue. Pure genius using tiny suction cups instead of glue. Once applied it does not shift or move and you can apply it right over the existing pickguard and you also can remove it without damaging the pickguard or guitars finish with a removal tool provided.
Great upgrade to my truss rod cover, adds class to an already classy guitar

I haven’t received them yet but, as I have already mentioned in a mailing to Gareth after buying them, I was enthusiastic after reading your ‘new’ advertising name for these so eagerly bought them as your capos have never performed for me on any of my 12 string guitars, and to be honest, I have also moved away from Thalia for my six string guitars as well because, as I have already explained to Gareth in a lengthy and detailed mailing, I have two competitor capo's that work far better for me on all of my acoustic guitars than Thalia both 6 string and 12 string. I had thought that these ‘Human Touch’ pads were an advancement in either technology or materials from the “Octave Touch’ pads I bought back in 2019. Unfortunately, in Gareth’s last reply to me, it sounds you have just changed the name so it looks like I have just wasted £22 on pads that will still not work any better than the ones I bought from you years ago for my 12 string as from what you say, they are obviously the same as the ‘Octave touch’ ones I bought back in 2019. I have obviously wrongly assumed these ‘Human Touch’ ones you advertise now were a progressive upgrade either in design or materials from the ones I bought from you back in 2019 and not just a renamed item, so these ones currently in the post will be of no use to me either, but I also said that in my reply.

I received as a gift from a friend as the Koa is the same tone as the cedar top on my 714. Unfortunately they are so big they won’t even go halfway into the bridge hole. I see from the reviews other people have had similar problems.
I love the look. The 3 pieces of wood it was made out of didn’t seem particularly solid or solidly held together at the edges though. Also had to be careful not to put the screws in very tight or it warped the wood a bit.
The Pearl Star koa Truss Rod cover has a flaw: there are black spots inside the white star shell that can't be wiped off, and the koa wood grain doesn't look as nice as shown on the website.
However, another pair of Stars & Stripes I bought is perfect. Due to unstable quality control and expensive overseas shipping, I'm hesitant to buy again.

I had been looking for a strap that had a large enough hole in the back end, and thin enough at the same time to work on the typical endpin jack on my acoustics. And this is it! I have a bunch of straps, but if I’m playing one of my acoustics, this is the strap I’m grabbing.
As usual the Thalia money clip is great.
